Updateness

I know it's been over a month since my last post, but I have my reasons.

I'm no longer working at Elavon. Due to the stress of the job that wasn't only affecting work, but D and me, he and I decided that it be best I not work there.

So, enough about that. I had an interview friday at a place called Digital Graphics. I think it went pretty well, but they still had a couple more people to interview so I'll just have to see. That's all I'll say for now since I don't wanna jinx it. :-)

In other news, things are going rather well. D has gotten bombarded with new projects over the last week so we've been quite busy. In fact, we're working later today just to make sure we stay caught up with everything. And, once the weather cools, I think we're gonna try for a camping trip before it turns too cold. It's been in the high 80s and 90s with humidity around 65-80%.

Um...what else. Oh, with all the work we've been having to do, I haven't had much time to read, but I did borrow a book from D's sister-in-law a couple days ago. It's called Death's Acre Inside the legendary forensic lab the Body Farm where the dead do tell tales. I found out that there's an actual place here in TN called The Body Farm. Dr. Bill Bass (who's like the #1 forensic anthropologist in the country) heads it up. Basically the whole place is dedicated to experimenting and documenting rates of decomposition based on various conditions. i.e. shallow graves, submerged in water, locked in a car trunk, etc. Yeah, I know it's a little gruesome, but it's very interesting. After all, once upon a time I wanted to study forensics.

Anyway, I'm about 1/4 of the way through the book and the sister-in-law has another one Dr. Bass wrote that I'll be borrowing when I'm done with this one.

Guess that's all for now.
